I loved my day at Sheffield. I got there at 12.30 and joined the line for the inner circle (and got in). U2 were on top form but so were the support acts: The Hours and the mighty Elbow. Well done to Bono for acknowledging the support bands.

Sheffield concert was absolutely amazing. Was stood right by the barriers where the band came in to and went out of the stadium from. Was literally feet away from them! The best band in the world? With ease I would say. Forget Simon Cowell and his nonsense of a TV programme - if you're gonna' have an X-Factor then I would say that a good definition of this is U2!! They are simply awesome and in a different league to ANY other band that is around today. It was a great night, a great concert and the very best in live entertainment.

Its a good review btw and it moved my mum to tears when she read it haha.

But yeh i qued from 8 and that was the the most spectacular show i ever witnessed.
i might sound like a i dont know alot about U2 but thats cos i cba too write it all again haha XD

Sorry, at this point fully aware I may get flamed for not reading through 43 pages of previous posts about Sheffield, but...

I missed the opening of the concert broadcast and came in halfway through "Breathe." Anyone able to help me out?

It was a great gig and my 9th U2 show. We had seats to Adams side of the stage and at the start everyone got up singing and dancing apart from a small number of people behind us who kept shouting sit down!!! Now i know they paid a lot for their seats but i can`t believe they didn`t get excited like the rest of our block did and stood up
Anyway i paid my money to enjoy myself again (and wasn`t let down) Got some pics but can`t figure out how to upload them from my C drive yet!!

I took these photo's from the pit at the sheffield gig, i was stood on the edge's side and tbh didn't see bono or adam much. I thought they would have worked the stage better, so a bit latter in the set we moved further to the back to get the an overall view of what you can only describe as an awesome spectical

sheffield was a terrific night :) i got there late and watched from the con-course - can't help but feeling things need mixing up though - it's turning into U2 by numbers

Just listening to the taped radio show right now. What an amazing show! Love the little "Pour Some Sugar on Me" snip at the end of Vertigo for the Def Lep hometown boys.

Giants Stadium can't come soon enough.

The Claw has arrived in Steeltown.

Forecast is good, city vibe is well up I hear, and what better way to spend a Thursday (if your not able to go to the show), than to tune in here and share your links, vibes, pics, tweets, video, whatever you have.
